Alocrom 100-1000-1200-Chromate Conversion
Chromate Conversions fall into three principal forms: Green for architectural components where electrical conductivity through the coating is not a prime requirement; Clear where electrical conductivity is paramount, but durability is not, and Golden where a combination of corrosion protection, and not electrical conductivity, is necessary.
Alocrom 100 is a green chromium phosphate treatment; often specified for construction parts. It is an excellent base for paint, and can be left untreated. Alocrom 1000 is a colourless chromate passivation, which is particularly suited for high electrical conductivity, not normally exposed and externally unpainted. Alocrom 1200 is a golden chromate coating that gives good electrical conductivity, with excellent corrosion resistance. It should be painted for exterior use.
Iridite NCP
Is an environmentally safe, chrome-free passivation treatment designed specifically for aluminium alloys. It applies a highly corrosion resistant conversion coating ideally suited to be painted or left as a stand-alone corrosion resistant barrier.
